We are excited to invite you to a fundraising event to support the John Greenleaf Whittier Home and Museum on Tuesday, October 6, 2026!

Dr. Emerson “Tad” Baker, professor of history at Salem State University, will give a lecture on the Salem Witch Trials with a particular focus on John Greenleaf Whittier’s ancestor Susannah Martin. The lecture will take place at 7PM, but at 6PM guests will be welcome to wine, beer, and snacks in the back yard (weather permitting).

Tickets for this event are $50 which includes beer, wine, snacks, and the lecture.

At the event we’ll be pulling the names of three winners of our River Cruise Raffle! Join Dr. Tad Baker for a cruise and conversation about New England’s early history on the Piscataqua River in summer 2027.
