Don your smart summer best and join us to go back in time for an old-fashioned Tea party in the Victorian garden of the John Greenleaf Whittier Home in Amesbury. The Tea will be held on Thursday August 21, from 2 to 4pm (rain date Friday August 22).

Bring a guest, or two, or three! Relax and enjoy a lovely Summer afternoon of good food and good company with light classical music accompaniment!

Menu includes hot & cold tea, lemonade and a rich assortment of tea sandwiches, pastries and candies lovingly made and presented by our own Whittier Home members.

There will also be a raffle with some wonderful prizes, and tours of the Home will be conducted starting about 3:30
