In Delivering the Truth, Quaker midwife Rose Carroll delivers babies and hears secrets in 1888 Amesbury. When arson destroys the town’s carriage factories and murder tears apart the town, Rose uses her strength and resourcefulness, along with advice from John Greenleaf Whittier, to bring the perpetrators to light.
