Join us for the Whittier Home Association October meeting on Thursday the 13th from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Whittier Home.
Our speaker will be Ed Mair, a member of Amesbury Friends Meeting, who will give a presentation on Thomas Wentworth Higginson. Higginson was an American Unitarian minister, author and abolitionist who devoted much of his life to fighting for the rights of freed slaves, women and other disfranchised peoples.
It will be a fascinating program followed by seasonal refreshments. The cost is $10 per person. Please make a reservation by calling 978-388-1337.
