Please join us for a splendid evening of history and entertainment at the Union Congregational Church on Point Shore.

Christine Remus will be portraying Susannah North Martin, a 70 year old resident of Amesbury who was convicted of witchcraft during the 1692 Salem Witch Trials.  Was she a witch?   This performance will tell the tale of Goody Martin before, during and after the fatal 19th July 1692.

Then Edith Maxwell will read her short story, “Murder in the Summer Kitchen”, which takes place in our own backyard — quite literally!

The perfomances take place at 5:30pm on October 20th in the sanctuary of the Union Congregational Church on Point Shore.  The cost is $30 per person.

A Donor Appreciation Reception follows in the Social Hall.
