Home at Christmas dotty williamson 010WhitterChristmasCome and enjoy the seasonal ambience of a Victorian Christmas at the historic National Landmark, John Greenleaf Whittier Home Museum at 86 Friend St in Amesbury from 1-5 p.m on December 6.

We are most pleased to welcome Amesbury’s first Poet Laureate, Ms. Lainie Senechal and the Birthplace Museum’s curator & storyteller, Mr. Gus Reusch, as Elizabeth & Whittier reading excerpts from Snowbound at 2:00 and 4:00.

This annual event is offered free to members of the community each year and includes an open holiday decor 20131125_102749Gift Shop offering unique gifts of reading for all ages. In addition, the gifts are wrapped at no additional cost.

 

The Hospitality Committee that will offer a variety of seasonal refreshments and beverages. In the background there will be seasonal music.Holiday table_0949
